Q 1 : I have received my login information, where do I start to register my Id?

A: Open NBC website www.nbctz.com Click corporate for corporate user or Retail for retail users.

Enter login information as required and click start. (Available from internet banking information provided to you)

Q 2: How do I change password and pin number?

A:

  • Enter old password (default initial password):
  • Enter New password make sure it contain at least 2 lower case alphabets and 4 numeric characters then confirm new password:
  • Make sure you tick change pin check box if you wish to change PIN number:
  • Enter default initial pin number;
  • Enter new pin and confirm the new pin (Note: only numbers);
  • Click change.

Q 3: What should I do when I receive an error message below?

A: You entered incorrect password / pin number. Please make sure you enter correct information

Note: Entering using incorrect information 3 times your account will be locked, you will be required to call help line 0222122012 or email netbanking@nbctz.com.

Q 4 : I don’t remember my login id / password or I have lost my Internet banking information what do I do?

A: Please visit our nearest branch for help.

Q 5 : I get error message “account not activated” for user what do I do?

A: Please call our help line for assistance.

Q 6 : I get error message “no account available” what should I do?

A: Please call our help line.

Q 7: I get error message “invalid account number” what should I do?

A: Make sure you put correct account number (the one linked to net banking).

Q 8 : How do I check my Bank statement (account activity)?

A : Click account activity;

  • Select current / specified period determine the period you prefer to see statement then enter the period as shown in the screen start date and end date;
  • Double click on twin arrows.

Q 9 : I am a corporate user how do I transfer money to my friend with NBC account or other banks?

A :To initiate funds transfer

  • Click on initiate funds transfer option on the main menu;
  • Choose the mode of transfer complete the user reference, source account, and the amount to be transferred (should not exceed the authorised amount);
  • Complete the destination account number (must be an NBC account number) and the branch name;
  • Click on initiate and wait for confirmation of the transactions;
  • More details of the initiation of funds transfer option and the positions of initiators and authorizers are clearly shown in the audit details screen..

To authorize a Funds Transfer

  • Click on authorize funds transfer on the main menu;
  • Enter the search criteria (user reference, status, mode of transfer, dates and the initiator) ;
  • Click on search and wait for the results;
  • On the results displayed select the transaction you want to authorize;
  • Clicks authorize.

Note: Fund transfer is allowed for NBC account only.

Q 10: I am a Retail user I want to transfer money how do I do this?

A

  • Client can transfer funds from one account to another (your own account);
  • From the screen at the destination account select the number from the drop down list then click transfer. This will take you to the screen to where the actual transfer of funds is clearly shown;
  • Clicks confirm.

Third party fund transfer:

  • Funds can be transferred from client account to third party account within NBC;
  • Enter the destination account number, transfer amount, transfer description then click transfer;
  • You can click change if you entered incorrect amount;
  • Click confirms to transfer money.
